The original letter was written in 1815, but it is unknown when this copy was transcribed.

President of the United States at the time of writing, Monroe offers Jackson a position as the First Envoy Extraordinary & Minister Plenipotentiary to Mexico. The letter is two pages. A typed transcription of the letter is included.

These letters to Littleton W. Tazwell discuss a bank deposit that was distributed to him on March 16, 1825 and the death of a relative on April 12, 1840.
